My daughter Juliana and I have gone through my recipes books (along with my Mother’s and Grandmothers..) and put together a recipe book based on our families favorites. I need to get a scanner to scan all of the recipe cards, so that’s in the works. (I want to eventually give these as gifts to each member of our family. I think it’s something sweet that can be passed down from generation to generation!) There’s just never enough time in the day to get everything done haha! But In the meantime, here are some of the recipes I use often:
Fried Plantains (it’s getting harder and harder to find good plantains!)
Mom’s Apple Cornbread Stuffing ...we used this one for Thanksgiving about ten years ago...we haven’t stopped making it! Always a family favorite! And it’s so simple!!
Hispanic Heritage (this is a pinterest page from Goya, with a collection of their Hispanic heritage recipes. I must admit, there’s some amazing ones on here!)
Pressure Cooker Pork Carnitas [Crispy Mexican Pulled Pork] (Alex got me an insta-pot for Christmas a few years ago...this recipe works well in it and saves tons of time!)
15 Recipes to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month ….loved the collection they put together on here!
